  13. It should not make a difference what program originates the
  14. fax--however I do know that Exchange will, by default, try to send the
  15. fax as a editable digital file first and if that is not possible (when
  16. the modems negotiate) then it sends the fax in a non-editable
  17. conventional fax format.  You might try changing the default in
  18. Exchange to "not-editable".
